Burning is not permitted in barrels or incinerators.

If you rent property, the property owner must submit written permission annual to the FD to allow you to burn.  For more information place contact any Fire Warden.

If you have any questions reference outside burning, please contact any of the town Fire Wardens listed below or the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry.

A seasonal burning permit is available by contacting the Fire Chief at 207-457-3922.  The fire chief must inspect the site annually and issue a new permit.
